Meet Dr. Gina Kim, M.D.

Gina Kim, M.D., F.A.A.O., is a board-certified ophthalmologist, practicing general ophthalmology and medical laser treatmetns. She received her M.D. degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1999. She went on to complete her internship in internal medicine at the prestigious Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in 2000. She then graduated from the LSU Eye Center/Ochsner ophthalmology residency program in 2004.

In this program, she obtained comprehensive, hands-on experience in all of the ophthalmic subspecialties, including cornea, refractive surgery, glaucoma, plastic and reconstructive surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, and retina. This program was founded by the world-renowned corneal specialist Dr. Hervery Kaufman, who still continues to teach there as of this writing.

Dr. Kim enjoys listening to music, watching movies and documentaries, snorkeling, exercising, and most of all, spending time with her husband Mike and new son Ryan.

Meet Dr. Margaret Rado, O.D.

Margaret Rado, O.D., did her undergraduate work at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1994. For the past 15 years, she has practiced medical optometry and has had extensive experience co-managing LASIK surgery and fitting contact lenses. She enjoys reading, running and spending time with her husband and two children.
